There are many reasons why a person snores. However, for many people, the snore is due to the vibration of an extremely long uvula. The uvula, for those who don't know, is the little dangly thing in the back of the mouth. Removal of the uvula (if the snore is due to this structure), may result in the reduction and possibly elimination of a person's snore... permanently.
